This is a small site and we run it plainly. Most of what a privacy policy usually has to confess, we do not do.
What this site collects
Nothing automatically. No cookies, no analytics, no trackers. When you read these pages we do not know who you are, and we have not built a way to find out.
The one third-party request
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them. That is the only request this site makes to anyone other than us.
The journey-request form
When you ask us to plan a journey, what you write reaches us as email and stays there. It is used for two things: to design your journey and to reply to you. We share it only with the hosts and operators who need it to plan — a lodge needs your dates, a guide needs to know what you hope to see. It is never sold.
The checkout
The checkout on this site is a demonstration. No payment is taken here, so no card details ever pass through these pages. Real bookings run on a written proposal and invoice — see terms.
Photographs
Nearly every photograph on this site was shot on the ground by Sacred Earth; a small number of background frames are licensed, credited in the footer, and will be replaced as we shoot the real places. Where a person appears in one of our own frames, they agreed to it first. That is our rule wherever we point a camera, and it applies to our own pages too.
